Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence

Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering, Delft University of Technology

How will artificial intelligence influence our lives? People and society need to be prepared. By communicating about their research on artificial intelligence, the Delft researchers aim to demonstrate its positive contribution to people and society, for example in such areas as mobility, health, and sustainability.

The Social Distancing Dashboard uses big data to visualise our ability to keep to the 1.5 metres COVID-19 rule. The Future Libraries Lab shows what innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence can mean for access to knowledge. Digitalising cultural heritage helps people understand works of art better. These and other similar research projects are presented to the general public and the media through websites, films and podcasts, social media and press releases, as well as through museum exhibitions and during Dutch Design Week. Professionals and computer scientists, European industry, and policymakers are also following these developments closely.
